Do you perform at drinks receptions with no sit-down meal involved?
– Absolutely, we are flexible to suit the format of your event.
Do you also perform in private residences?
– Yes, we’ve performed around the client’s kitchen table before.
How do I explain what you will be doing to my venue/catering?
– You won’t need to. We liaise with everyone (including yourself!) from our side.
Are you the operatic singing waiters?
– We are hilarious comedy waiters, we do sing some songs, but our show is mainly about improvisation and laughter.
How do you tailor your show to fit our event?
– We personalise each of our shows to the event at hand with the help of a questionnaire filled in advance by the organiser.
Do your waiters dress up in the venue’s uniform?
– No, our waiters have their own classic black & white costumes.
Do you only perform in the UK?
– No, we go everywhere in the world where there is a need for laughter and entertainment. We have bases in the UK, Germany and Denmark from which we travel.

Do you perform in other locations than restaurants and private homes?
– Yes, the funny waiters entertain in many different locations: Hotels, airports, castles, sports halls, streets, canteens, storage rooms, in the woods, on the beach and concert halls. We perform wherever the event is!
Are you really that funny?
– Yes! Sometimes.
Café Kolbert comedy waiters are international and travels all of Europe, to where the party is.
The funny waiters have been in many countries and different places: Hotels, airports, castles, sports halls, streets and concert halls.
Here above they entertain in a restaurant located on the beach – and directly on the sand – in Cannes, France.

Our funny servants are getting all kinds of questions, when the serve at the tables. You can actually talk to them during the performance, and they will answer you in character.
The comedy runs for about an hour during:
– a reception or open house
– the welcome drink
– or as most often – during the dinner itself.

We serve and entertain at any party or event.
If you call the us, we will tell you how the comedy waiters will fit into your event.
We improvise with the dinner guests while serving drinks around the tables, by simply make fun with the guests or for example sing a song etc.
But several times during the show we entertain everybody in the room simultaneously all together.
No matter where it is;
in the garden, at the restaurant, on a boat or in a castle
– we organize the fun comedy waiters’ entrance in advance with the toastmaster, the local waiters and the kitchen staff.
The show takes place while your guests are dining, drinking and talking amongst each other, so it integrates perfectly with any timeframe
